what a lovely little town. Thank you so much for this.. It made me happy inside. I grew up with Laurel and Hardy films. My father was a huge fan. For his birthday one year, I bought him a membership to the local chapter of the Sons of the Desert. My mother never could understand how we laugh at the antics, even though we'd seen them a million times.

Your right, I always laugh at them even though I know what is coming up.. I have all the Hal Roach films on DVD box set and a treasured possession they are too... Glad you enjoyed it Shirley and brought some good memories to you.. :)

Laurel and Hardy is and was my favorite actors and comedians. Everytime those two gentlemen gets into trouble, Hardy gets in bigger trouble, but Laurel gets away with it until later

Laurel and Hardy are TIMELESS; and Stan Laurel was the hero of Jerry Lewis (my comedic hero). This was such a charming exhibition of where two brilliant comedians came from! The museum was magnificent! I loved how you intertwined the footage with Laurel and Hardy gags! like you, I couldn't help but giggle. Wow, there is so much incredible artifacts! Such a joy to watch. Ah - ended it with the classic ending! Brilliant!

Hi man, thanks for watching.. I have been wanting to visit Ulverston and the museum for many years, this was my chance and it was a charming place and museum..The only museum that I have ever been to that you could buy a beer and watch a movie as well.... Stan is one of my hero's.. He went over to the States with Charlie Chaplin, was his understudy at the theatre and in my eye's funnier than Chaplin... Thanks for the watch... :)

Wow I had no idea the museum was in England, thx so much for sharing, our whole family have always been fans especially my 10 year old son, I only live in Yorkshire, I’ll have to go over there and pay it a visit after this dreadful lock down is over , thx again ☺️

Such a quaint town center! I hope to see more places like that when I'm on the road. I don't like road circles, and I could likely handle THAT one, were it not for the fact that you all drive in the wrong direction. Glad you enjoyed this trip! Great views inside the museum, bud!

Thanks George, You mean roundabouts, lol.. And by the way, you drive on the wrong side not us.. ;) Always wanted to visit Stan laurels home town, and the museum was really charming.. Yeah it was a great day out.. :)

It seems as though "Laurel & Hardy" are not appreciated in the US! The town I live in south of San Francisco is where "Charlie Chaplin" made films aka: "Niles"
