Loved to see Millie leading the brothers in the challenge dance! They all look like they’re having so much fun!

I want to see a remake of 7 brides and 7 brothers. I want my friends and family to watch the 1950's movie but they refuse because they say its too old and i'm 15😢😢 so it would be cool to make a remake version

Hang in there, Barnaby. In a few years, you will be old enough to rent whatever old movies you want to see. Also, you can find movies available for free check-out at a local library.

I’m 14 and this is my favorite musical, maybe one day I’m hoping for a remake as well. My parents groan whenever I watch it or play the soundtrack cause Ive played it a million times. You’re not alone!

The high energy dancing from the ensemble makes this video worth watching! 1:30 Also worth noting the live BBC Concert Orchestra revealed at the end. 4:35

Funnily enough, the original title of the movie *was* "A Bride for Seven Brothers", but the censors didn't like that too much for some reason....
@cristincik916 жыл бұрын
The original is sobbing women, but they thought no one will go to a movie names like that so they tried the A Bride for Seven Brothers
@marylandsmann11755 жыл бұрын
It was sobbing woman. Then a bride for 7 brothers. The. Became 7 brides for 7 brothers.

"They were actually going to do a mashup with the cast of Book.of Mormon. It was going to be called Seven Brides For One Brother..." Mostly awkward silence. Made me laugh. (And not the joke.)

So some of the people making the comments really don't have anything better to do than, passive aggressive bullying....

The girl who sang going courtin was hard to listen to. Nice voice but held each note too long. No liveliness like the jane powell original
@kylehancock14585 жыл бұрын
I agree. The first line should be an easy breezy rendition of: "Goin' courtin', goin' courtin' ... Oh it sets your senses in a whirl."

I agree, too. I don't know the singer's background, but it reminded me of what happens when an opera singer tries to sing a number from a musical. Over-enunciation made her sound unrealistic.
@kylehancock14585 жыл бұрын
@@nycsguy ... I think the real problem is that this is a British pronunciation of an American show. I presume the actress is British and cannot get past her British pronunciations. (For the record, I am an opera singer who does a lot of musical theater, as well.)
@nycsguy5 жыл бұрын
@@kylehancock1458 I didn't mean to paint everyone with the same brush. I've heard some opera singers who do well with musicals, but I've heard some that just can't.

The choreography from the uk tour that Patti Colombo directed and choreographed is way better than this one. But I'm partial :) love this show!!!
@ainemairead45422 жыл бұрын
Karl Warden you must be one of those passive aggressive bully types.
@KarlWarden2 жыл бұрын
@@ainemairead4542 maybe look up what passive aggressive means because my comment was very direct and pointed. This choreography is not good. And I said it point blank.
