Kamen Rider, can honestly be described as "Live action anime, thats actually good" cause many writers, directors and such have also done many animes too. I'd highly recommend checking out Kamen Rider Ex-Aid All Henshin, Forms, and Finishers too. Ex-Aid is all about doctors and video games. Fun fact too, Build here is all about science. The MC is a physicist. So they decided to added the details of the math equations into his powers to make sense of it all. As for the bottles, those are the toy gimmick items, Fullbottles. Each one has a essence of something, either an organic creature or a inorganic item/creation. By combining one of each some give him armor, but specific combinations become "Best Matches" as in, they're like the perfect combo to use against an enemy.

The genius physicist who is trying to stop a war in a divided Japan and the puppet masters behind it. Build carries over the dual mix and match gimmick of Double from years ago and plays with it more. Instead of an element mixed with a fighting style in the way Double approached it, the system uses a mix of organic and inorganic components to create forms. It is a show that is merchandise heavy, so some forms outside of the base Rabbit Tank, Hazard and the super and final forms are just one offs or appear for just one or two episodes. Build somewhat balances this through the war subplot, he has to keep evolving in the escalating conflict otherwise people will die or invading armies will take over his home as the villains keep cooking up new Smash (monsters of the week) or new weapons to try and take down Sento.
