It was narrated from 'Aishah that she said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?" the word"عني" is mentioned in the hadith and which the Sheikh mentioned translates to forgive me with the context of the dua as for"عنا" it could be used when a group is supplicating like in qunoot it translates to forgive us with the context as well saying just"عن" is wrong والله أعلم
