I started watching your videos recently and now I have taken all my potted succulents and made a tapestry. Wow. It takes a lot. I used 4 different top dressings. Went to Sepulveda Building materials, picked out 2 small “boulders”, and half an open bag of tiny river rock. When we got to the counter-my husband is a contractor so they know us- we asked, “ how much?” The guy said “Have a nice day.” 😝👍🏼👍🏼 So my project was free, except for my aching body today. I already had 3/4” green quartzite and some 4” amber cobbles. Will try to figure out Instagram tomorrow since I’m not on Facebook. 😊🙏🏼❤️

Laura. Oh my gosh. I am so inspired by your fountain. My neighbor threw out a shell fountain a few months ago. I grabbed it and it has been sitting untouched ever since in my back porch. I was going to mosaic it and make it a bird bath. But we have a huge problem with West Nile virus here in my area. A succulent garden is the answer. And now I feel I don’t need to go through the trouble of mosaic. Thank you

I keep saying “love” every time I comment, but I love your fountain, the project proposal, and the titles that Greg (presumably) put on the video with the names of succulents! I took about 20 screenshots on my phone during the video so I can finally learn the succs names. Thank you so much!

Thanks for breaking the beau. arrangement down like that. At first sight it looks too complex and I was clueless to how to make something look so professional and stunning. But looking at the arrangement over and over again & pausing I found clues. Thanks for giving their names. I'm new to succulents and want to find and learn abt succulents I see or use them in my own creations. Can't do that if I don't know their names.

I think I over protect my succulents as I am so reluctant to make changes (for cuttings). I am a bit afraid of planting cuttings mixed in with rooted plants. Do you still do much of your watering by hand, whether in pots or in the ground.? I am in zone 9 Northern California. Do you water your clay pots differently from glazed pots? Your garden is as beautiful as your heart (yes I have met you in person and you do shine).

Did you drill holes in the fountain for draining? I was thinking that during the rainy season, that water is just going to settle in cause root-rot.
