People just don’t seem to understand why afking for 300 hours without paying much attention can be better than faster methods. To me it’s simple, when you work 8 hrs a day and can do this on mobile that month it takes to get to 99 will fly by. I do a lot of afk methods on my Ironman and yea it’s inefficient but I much rather enjoy playing the game later when I’m not busy and afk it now rather than play later in my free time and do things like fishing for food.

I very much agree with this. As a kid I could play all day, I stopped playing for a few years in the military and got out to find myself playing on my downtime. My current account is 100% mobile and almost all afk aside from wildly slayer. Most adults just don’t have the tune in the day to “grind”

@Faking F2P I work 40 or more hours a week, and I play borderlands 3 call of duty watch sports with my family and do a lot with my girlfriend and her family too. I would definitely say it all comes down to how you as an individual choose to spend your time and it should all be considered acceptable unless you're botting.

Yeah I agree. People REALLY think that doing stuff like 2-ticking and 3-ticking is normal. In all my years of playing RuneScape I have NEVER done anything that sweaty other than kill Jad when he was the ULTIMATE boss in the game. I play on my phone and I work long hours at times (military) and when I get home I want to spend time with my wife so I'm not going to play on my computer. I play on my phone and typically AFK stuff so I can enjoy my wife or friends or whatever. AFKing is what adults who have a lot going on do. I'd AFK for 1,000 hours because in reality, my family and my life supersede OSRS.

For the bowstring point, if you're wearing the Kandarin headgear 2 after completing the Kandarin Medium achievement diary, you can spin flax into bowstrings 33% faster. This would significantly speed up this training method.

I liked the style of the video; it presents useful infor|ation in an easy-to-follow format. Unfortunately I forgot to check the upload date, and the market has changed; it looks like d’hide bodies are actually cheaper than battlestaves at the moment (comparing blue/green to their equivalents; red and black are still more expensive)

I just got 99 crafting on my skiller doing diamond bracelets till 99, i actually profitted a few millions, it dident take that long to hit 99 about 130k exp/hr sometimes less if i dident pay attention, i can recommend it for anyone with low cash or someone just looking to not run empty on cash doing crafting, i had 30m bank so this worked for me, and the bracelets sell easily for standard price sometimes it might take a few minutes but they sell everytime, prices has been stable for this method for months now always 30-100gp profit per bracelet

you can do air battlestaves profitably by only crafting the daily battlestaves you get from the varrock diary. It will take quite a while to get 99 but you'll make a profit and it's 16k free crafting xp each day with the elite diary

DHide bodies are profitable; if you cast tan leather to make the dragon leather, and immediately high alch the bodies. This of course hurts your EXP crafting rate, but provides really solid magic XP. Profits really depend on the GE. But often you get 5-30gp/body. Not great, but for the XP

I pretty much just glass blow while I work out. It's close to 50 seconds of AFK, and thats about how long my sets are and how long my rest periods in between sets are. Beyond that, the only crafting xp I get is through RC.

Best Place for bow strings is Fossil Island. The spinning wheel there is pretty close to a bank chest. it takes 59 seconds to do 1 inventory.

With todays current prices I calculate its a 15m loss from 85-99 crafting doing amethyst arrowtips which is similar to glass blowing. However what I'm not understanding in your video is glassblowing is 70exp per orb and its 116kxp/hr but you say amethyst arrow tips that are 60exp each is 165kxp/hr. Theyre the same speed on xp drops so why would the exp/hr be that drastically different given the xp per one?

In rs3, gold ore was dirt cheap so it’s how I got 99 smith and I crafted gold bracelets from about 50 to 99 craft

Thinking about doing crafting for some diaries soon and checking different sources. Curious as to why you haven't included gem jewellery, it's listed on the wiki as well as theoatrix's site as one of the most profitable crafting methods. A bit scared I won't be able to sell them after and end up losing lots of cash though

I’m not sure how old his guide is, but cutting gems definitely isn’t profitable now. It’s actually on par with losing money comparable to black d’hide bodies. I didn’t include this because I already had 5 methods in this video and one of which is just as expensive.

You missed a good one. Buying silver ore, smelting it to bars and making unstrung holy symbols. You can make less profit buying the silver ore, but its still profit. You get 50 exps per and its as fast as gold bracelets but double the 25 exps gold bracelets give or 30 for the ammy (u).

Of course you can do this, but, it would be even more time to 99. You can use any of the methods I listed from 54-99. It was just another possibility of getting to 54 to make some extra cash.

Amethyst is currently 3,495 each. Arrow tips are 228 each. You get 15 arrow tips per amethyst. That sells for 3,420. So you lose 75 GP per amethyst. The prices have changed since I made the video. (Already????) so it’s a little off. Lol

Why is other Jewelry always ignored? It's not even on the p2p wiki but it is profitable, afk, and much better exp than simple gold bracelet. For example you can get 100k exp/h with diamond amulets (u) and make 75k/h gold
