Nice demonstration. I work with the LDG Z100 and manage to tune my ICOM370 which is attached to a very short inverted L-wire. No more than 14 meters, on my balcony. Just works fine, except on 80 meters, my antenna is just too short for that. 73 PA5ABW

I had one of these tuners and it would not work unless the radio is switched to AM (Kenwood TS-430S). Got rid of the radio and the tuner and now I have a MFJ 969 Versa Tuner II, roller inductor tuner. However, my Yaesu 991a has a built in tuner and I usually use it. I was Told by the LDG company , with my radio, the yeasuft757gx, that i needed to key the radio first, the press the tune button on the ldgz-100, and do this tuner require a balun in line to achieve the best SWR....
