Hunk might be the only human so good at killing zombies that he wasn't affected by any viruses in any way, which would akwardly mean that he might be the only guy to age "normally" from racoon city incident, if he wasn't genetically altered beforehand. This would make Hank in his mid to late 50s by resident evil village, if we give him a reasonable age to begin with.

If anything I can just see him being a mercenary doing work that involves B.O.W.s. His Mercenaries 3D alternate outfit with the scythe has to have a story. Like he literally now lives up to his name the “Grim Reaper” as Nighthawk mentioned at the end of 4th Survivor. I don’t think he would want to associate himself with any corporation after RC so he keeps his identity hidden while getting job offers.

Definitely keep survival horror, its not RE if it doesn't feel tense from lack or resources. I love the idea of Hunk filling the role of a "scalpel" though, stealth focus, precise strikes at the moment of opportunity, complete with new enemies to challenge that playstyle directly. If he is a specialist that's more heavily armed than the previous protagonists, he should be placed in scenarios, far more overwhelming, and dangerous.

It would be an awesome retcon/opportunity to use the RE7 Chris as an imposter who was Hunk this whole time. It would explain why the RE Village Chris looks different from the one in RE7. It would be a sneaky easter egg with the “Not a hero” dlc title alluding that it was not actually Chris and that guy was no hero.

I think part of what makes HUNK so appealing and has kept his hype as a character is the LACK of info we have on him. We met him in 1998...its been 25 years and all weve gotten is the 4th survivor minigame which shows just how badass he is My point is as soon as we get more info on him we lose that magic and he just becomes another badass with an established story

You forgot he also shows up in RE4 as a mercenary. He is the only Mercenary in RE4 that has no relevance to the story. Supposedly. I personally beleive his inclusion in Mercenaries is his lore in that game, like mercenaries is his Canon story for that game where he just fucks shit up for whatever reason.

I am waiting to hear anything about this game. I remember seeing the list that was leaked years ago, and I was immediately interested in that title. I had put together a bit of a lengthy list on why he deserves his own game. Turned into a bit of a ramble. Also, I really love the idea of him working with Chris in some regard, or at least being considered due to his skills.

I would really like to play a game telling his whole story from RE2 - now and it might be called HUNK chronicles. I say he should also be DLC in 9 and he should also get his own animated TV series and an animated what if series that would be cool. I’m sure that he is looking for someone or a new squad to train for the future cause I think he is all about survival even when there aren’t any zombies around it would be cool to see him team up with Leon and Chris in this last game and see just how crazy good he is.

What if HUNK is a biochemical military zombie that’s umbrella’s main goal? Like he is the only one of his kind that umbrella has desperately been trying to remake. In resident evil village, it was noted at the ending that someone made a biochemical soldier to Chris. Either umbrella or another cooperating that picked up on umbrella’s experiments successfully made another HUNK. If HUNK is a biochemical weapon then it would explain a few things such as being ruthless like the other experiments, but responsive. Then again, I am probably wrong 😅

I always believed it was Hunk who retrieved the Plaga sample to Wesker, not Ada. There would have made a lot more sense if it was him and not Ada in the extra mode, assignment Ada (Another Order in the original)

Saying we don't know what happened to Hunk is a little on the incorrect side bud, after the fall of Umbrella he became a legendary Mercenary. He went on to create his own close quarters combat system, known as Close Quarters Biohazard Combat (I think) and used those skills to keep him alive.

Hunk being apart of Blue Umbrella would make complete sense. Chris went out and recruited Hunk making Hunk switch sides to the good side. Almost similar to Boba Fett as a character and story, mysterious yet badass. Would be cool too see how and why Hunk has a change of heart or wants to help Chris, Leon and Crew in his own game leading up the main timeline.

If I were to make a game solely focused on Hunk, I would make it like Hitman: Contracts where he narrates all of his missions from the first up to the one he just finished. My wish for a RE game in the future: A non-canon storyline of Resident Evil: Bio Warfare, in a first-person mode Call Of Duty and Doom-like gameplay style, 60FPS, featuring HUNK, Carlos, USS Alpha Team, USS Delta Team and UBCS Team. Made by the collaboration of CAPCOM, Treyarch and Bethesda with epic boss fights in every stages from all RE games from RE0 to RE7 or RE8. Cool, dramatic, emotional storylines, epic missions, awesome and satisfying QTEs finishing moves on enemies (no human enemies please) and bosses, customisable and unlockable weapons, costumes, finishing moves, stages, etc. So many things can be done if done it correctly and properly.

While "Blue Umbrella" Hunk is certainly an option, I would'nt mind seeing the "You play the bad guys in Resident Evil" option, either. RE:ORC was a farcry from the best game in the franchise, but I think a lot of its ideas and characters were pretty cool. Maybe a game with RE:2 & 3 remake gameplay with Hunk and those characters that better fleshes them out. One way or the other, definitely start off Hunk with more weapons and ammo than your typical RE protagonist but do turn up the heat by making supplies limited forcing in those tactical "fight or flight" decisions (the true meat and potatoes of Resident Evil).

I thought outrage was canceled? Also 8 was supposed to be revelations 3 according to some people which im not sure it was ever meant to be that. Also outrage was also slated to be revelations 3 so who knows. Also in the not a hero DLC chris expressed his distaste for being on loan from the BSAA and sent to work for Blue umbrella, hunk would never have had that quirrel so no thats not hunk just a bad representation of chris's appearence but its actually chris. Resident evil 9 should still be related to 7 & 8 and finish out the 1st person trilogy and go back to ots or fixed camera for the next triogy or just outright end the franchise with 10. 1-3 were a trilogy, 4-6 werent really related but similar enemies so kinda likeba trilogy but not really. 7-8 are just a duology rn til 9 comes out and wraps that up.
