Coming from a M&K player newcastle is really hard in the close fights. His kit mostly gives him tools to make it awkward for players at a distance but M&K is already good at that range so he probably does make more sense to push as a controller player as the ranged cover is probably better for controller where the natural advantages are for close fights.
