Wonderfully crafted. The voice acting in this whelms me with a certain feeling of greying dread, a sense of poetic hope. But all that’s being hung into, is a mere shred, a sliver of hope among the duo. That despite their situation, despite the unnerving circumstances, Doc has a plan. And we ride on this plan until the end. For humanity.

I never expected a sequel to the first one, and I really like this one. More character developments and has a more optimistic tone. Also looks like it takes place in a futuristic setting based on how they describe cars

I definitely like the mood and feel this story has developed. I do NOT like the occasional references to The Surge. It sounds ominous. I can think of a few things that it might turn out to be, none of them good. I hope we survive.

The surge seems strongly implied to be a country wide/global EMP blast. Hence the need to swap out of the presumably electric car to an old gas one.
