Great tips on one of the most difficult aspects of left hand technique. The "snake-bite" used to happen all the time with me, but it's been a while. If it crops up again, I'll take special note of the hand orientation..thanks for pointing that out.

It happened to me before I wasn't conscious that my pinky was flying most of the time. and that I was using the pad pinky because it wasn't curve. should be a pinky tip.
