I was very lucky to pray in his class for 2 years at zakaria mosque in late 60s probably 68/ 69. He lived in maybank street and I recall he would send me to his house frequently to pick the odd thing up whether it was yoghurt. I also recall his daughter was a baby . He also used to visit my parents on a regular basis. This was before Darul uloom was purchased and built . In 1985 I had the pleasure of driving the sheikhs brother Maulana Abdul rahim rahimullah who was in a visit to the uk from Zambia. May Allah grant them the highest place in jannah

Read his books to know his creed (aqeeda). I read two books written under the supervision Moulana Yousuf Motala. ' karamat e moosaji ' and 'pious people condition at the time of death' Full of mythology and non-sense.

He was the first khalifa of abdul wahab najdi. . Saudi gave plenty of sadqah to this sect..now their splintered into many factions..even in india where they originate from and have tradionally been very close to Hindus. ..bur now bjp want hindutva in india...so they getting some stick ( corona spreaders tabligh jamaat in india media) majority of this deo band sect mosques were heavily funded from Saudi and najdis, ,,hence they still celebrate eids with their masters timing. .. but also are bunch of arrogant fitna they don't even know the sharia of moon sighting and blindly follow their great pay masters of one time ago..
