I was raised in a household with a dad that sang and played guitar in various gospel choirs when we were growing up. We enjoyed going to church and listening to the songs performed by traditional gospel groups local and national as they visited the local church's in Durham, NC. But it wasn't until my younger brother Randy introduced me to the sounds of the Canton Spirituals and Mr. Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's out of Tupelo, Mississippi. His music gave me a life-long appreciation for Quartet music and years later I'm still inspired, motivated and blessed by this very talented and blessed man of God. I am a vocalist and come from a family of quartet singers and my mother and her group loved Lee Williams she's going on she left here June 17th 2021 oh, she was saddened when she heard about his condition and wanted to see him perform one more time. Well that didn't happen but they're both in the protected beautiful mansion that was prepared for both of them ministering to God's people until that time was up. Greetings to All of U Family I come in Peace & Much Love. Today is September 4th 2021 I just learned last evening of Mr Lee Williams transition, at 1st my heart felt sadness but just thinking about him and his dedication & his love & his determination to spread 'THAT' Love that was put in him SO heavily that I couldn't allow the sadness to be my Greatest memory. I am from Flint Michigan my mother & family loved Mr Williams and the group. My mom was also a Gospel Quartet singer for 41 yrs & anytime she heard about Mr. Lee being anywhere from here to Chicago they would be on their way there. My mom transitioned June 17th 2021 with one of the last thing she wanted to do was to see him perform and she heard about his condition it saddened her. So she prayed for him all the time. Well she didn't get to see him on this side but if there is any possibility they're probably in the same choir right now. I've read all of the comments and without being disrespectful or rude to anyone to my understanding the recording was done from someone cell phone and so the quality was not going to be what it would have been had it been done with cameras that will give you the quality you would have loved to have watched but ask for me to be able to see him in his final hours with that determination to run all the way to the end what's the best quality ever and I'm ever so grateful to whoever it was they posted it thank you so much.
