The Legend of Boruta - High Quality

Hey everyone! I've noticed a lot of new activity on my channel recently, and most of it is due to my short film The Legend of Boruta, which I uploaded nearly 10 years ago now! It's lovely to see this re-engagement with people who are finding and enjoying my work, but I am wondering if I could provide you guys with more content, and to see what that could be. Maybe I could do a "10 years later" video about the film? Dig up some old concept art, talk about how the film was made, etc. Or maybe talk about where my career has taken me since the launch of the film? I hope I can make this channel into an informative place where I can share insight, techniques, and just generally inspire young people to get into the industry. What do you guys think?

Why the hell is that soldier stuffing big items into his bag? He could have carried 100 gold coins or more. Those coin would have more values than a plate and a candlestick.

True but it would not have mattered for two reasons.First he was only concentrating on filling up his bag as quickly as possible so he could get out of that creepy tomb. Especially after that spooky statue started moving on its own when he did so.Second the statue simply looked at him and he went from petrified to stone scraps within a matter of minutes. By that point he could not even run.He could have filled his bag to almost bursting with coins that would probably be worth millions today. He like all the grave robbers before him over the centuries would never get past the exit to spend them. :P

I know that the story sets it up for you to dislike the soldier (Nazi, stealing, etc), but I can't help feeling alot of sympathy towards the guy. He either does what the captain commanded, or he comes back empty handed from a rich catacomb and faces severe consequences for failure to follow orders. He's in a terrible situation either way he goes about it.

tbh.. I agree with you... I mean I will not feel sympathy for the SS. But it cleary shows that he is a Wehrmacht. Sure some of the Werhmachts commit war crimes, But lesser than the SS

Haha the inspiration for Michael Mann's "The Keep" from 1983 came from Polish mythology. Jewish producer Michael Mann stole/appropriated this entire idea from Polish and pagan Slavic culture and used it to create sympathy for Jews.
