If you have any issues with the quality of a game, it seems idiotic to voice those frustrations towards the consumer rather than the creator. Well Japan makes the games faster then it takes to dub them and Falcom of Japan won't even ALLOW English dubs to be worked on until 1 YEAR after the current game is released in Japan so yes Kuro 3 will likely be released in Japan before the end of September NEXT year.

This is a good starting point, but I recommend playing previous games in order: Sky 1-3, Zero/Azure, Cold Steel 1-4/Reverie. I know that there are a lot of games, but they are worth the effort. Playing This game with the knowledge of the previous titles really enhances the experience.

I only got into Trails at the beginning of 2023, but it has quickly become my new favorite series by far. ATLUS used to be my JRPG main staple, but they really sh¡t the bed when they became the Persona 5 company. (I am so over Persona 5 now.) The Christmas-like excitement I used to feel every time a new game or new merch was released for ATLUS is dead... and instead claiimed by Trails! Can;t wait for this game, and just a couple of hours ago, the Kotobukiya Joshua Bright figure was announced as their next Trails figure!

They can't. Xseed owns the rights to sky trilogy, cs1, and cs2 in the west and they cut ties with Falcom ages ago

It all depends on Falcom whether they want to release Sora trilogy on modern consoles or not, or from third party publishers like DotEmu that released English physical version of Ys Origin on PS4, Vita, and Switch.

Woah! Basically every Trails game except the Sky trilogy are available on the Switch, this is great. I don't think anyone was expecting this to happen so soon. (also, hoping that the Sky trilogy is released on Switch soon). Edit - Cold Steel 1 and 2 aren't in English, but at least they have English patches. Most early Switches are moddable, so it isn't too hard to mod unless you have a later revision which requires a chip.

That's not going to happen by the time this one/KURO 1 for its English dub is released Japan will likely already have Kuro 3 BEING released FIRST on the PS4/PS5. But of the 2 Kuro games in Japan on the PS4 the first of the 2 did NOT have high speed mode which Btw the high speed mode applied to BOTH the turned based battles as well as the battles that play like any given YS game ONLY the PS5 version of Kuro 1 included the speed mode boosts.

@@veghesther3204 We're never getting same-day international releases, but once upon a time we were five games behind Japan. As of right now we're only two games behind. And once Daybreak 1 releases over here, we'll be just one game behind for a few months, and that's assuming Daybreak 3 even releases in Japan in 2024. It sounds like Falcom might be cooking up something else for 2024 instead, though. If Daybreak 3 ends up releasing in Japan in 2025, and we get Daybreak 2 that same year, we will actually be just one game behind them, which is honestly great pacing.

This is amazing. Thanks to Final Fantasy's decline in quality I ended up discovering the Trails series, which became my favorite RPG series of all time. I started playing Trails of Cold Steel 1&2, which made me want to play the entire series from thr begining because of the quality of the story, characters, world building, turn based battle system, etc... so I played thr 3 games of Trails in The Sky on Steam (this arch deserves a remake), finished Trails from Zero, from the Crossbell arch, and am finishing Tails to Azure right now. I already bought Trails of Cold Steel 3&4, which I'll play after replaying 1&2... and for Reverie I'm waiting for a sale to buy it... The thing is that Nihon Falcom is amazing and anyone that likes RPGs must play this series... it's the best in the entire videogames industry.
