I know this sounds crazy but I visited that jail in Charleston and saw a solid black shadow of a man with the shape of a fedora like hat on and a large overcoat just walking across the lawn nonchalantly. Years later I saw a video about Lavinia Fisher picture of her and her husband, John fisher. My bloodvran cold because he was wearing a hat and overcoat. I knew instantly that it was him that I saw that night. I often wonder why he showed himself to me.
