Shake would never say something good out loud unless he had an ulterior motive. He was watching the show and had crazy flashlights because he was scared. He lied about the lights to avoid admitting he was scared, and he lied about how good it was to avoid looking dumb for being so into a bad movie. He would never volunteer his opinion spontaneously because he would fear being judged for liking something dumb.

I think you’re right, except the part about _Assisted Living Dracula._ I wouldn’t trust Shake’s opinion on it alone, but Mothmonsterman also say it’s really good, and the guy is good in it, which I do trust. I’ve also seen it, and even though the ending is kind of predictable, I agree both that it is good, and that Don Kennedy is good in it.

Nah, Shake isn't that self-aware. More likely he just got the lights because he thinks they make him look cool, and he actually does think _Assisted Living Dracula_ is a good movie. Also, Shake volunteers his dumb opinions _all the time._ The only time I can think of that he's ever cared what someone else has thought about him is in "Dirtfoot" when he was suddenly worried about people thinking he was gay.

He's a whimsical character; like that time he encourages meatwad to use his imagination with the puppets in the dickesode, and when he sings with meatwad the yes sir no sir song that one episode. The thing to remember with him is his choices are never based on any sort of morals, if he's nice it's almost always some sort of whim, that can and will change in an instant.

I'm not sure if it's already on your radar or not, but I'd love to see you guys checking out the DEBUT debut of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, in the episode "Baffler Meal" of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Basically, the guys who created ATHF worked on Space Ghost and made these characters as mascots for a fast-food place in the Space Ghost universe and they became sponsors for one episode. It's hilarious, and was produced before they made this show, but they had scrapped it until this premiered on Adult Swim and became a big hit

I get the impression that you two aren't particularly fond of Shake. If that is indeed the case, I'd recommend the episodes "Unremarkable Voyage", "Super Spore", and "Super Model", as they all involve horrible things happening to him; the latter one is especially cathartic, as it involves Meatwad getting his revenge on Shake.
