That was a meta strategy for ages on Arena. (You can still go for a lot of monks on Arena, but the optimal play is more balanced ⚖ with other units.)

Man this first game reminds me of the pain of my local team getting mercilessly destroyed by Real Madrid and CR7 at the Bernabeu in what was our first champions league season in ages some 15 years ago. Fun fact - blue (Carbo/Calello) was a starter on that team, he actually has 6 CL appearances including the full 90' at the Bernabeu

If I remember correctly from another vid, conversions are counted towards the most produced units. So Phosphoru did not create almost double the monks, but he converted monks while T90 didn't (because of heresy).

I wonder if some siege covered by light cav could counter the massed monks. I mean all it'd take is one or two mangonel shots or a blob of scorpions. But it is an expensive counter, and one that would work only once

I wonder if phosphoru would benefit from using towers with this strategy. It seemed like you used them offensively to combat his usage of monks, but I feel like he could apply the same thing to the enemy trying to counter his monks.

I think it will teleport either where it was loaded to the transport or to the nearest shoreline, it definitely doesnt disappear
