My sweet husband took me to the town if Sleepy Hollow in the deep of one autumn. I loved it so much and listening to this just took me back there. Great narrative!! ❤

I've been to Sleepy Hollow too. I don't think I had the experience you had. But it was summer so I think there's a difference would have loved to be there in fall. I've been there four or five times but as I said it was all summertime

Except for the frightening folk beliefs, Irving describes the neighborhood almost as an earthly paradise - green groves, sailing ships plyi9ng the river, the ever-present forests, the rich farm land and the dreamy atmosphere imbuing the entire area with the charms of fairy tale loveliness...
