I thought that made it more authentic. Sometimes directors take a shot zooming in one direction. Then in editing they decide they shouldn't done it zooming in the opposite direction. So they'll splice it in going backwards. (If they make this mistake on a panned shot, they can simply flip the film to reverse left and right.)

I have followed GenAI videos for a year now, and again and again they amaze me. This is all really well done, but at 1:28 my heart skipped a beat. Did they look each other in the eyes one after another? How? How do you prompt something like that? It looks so genuinely natural, exactly how people would check each other out after some reaction. This is madness. And fun.

I haven’t found any statements by Myamoto to confirm this. The original game was being developed in 1985, the exact year Legend came out, too close for “inspiration”. He did say that he was inspired by western fantasy and exploring forests and caves as a child in Japan.

If they did a Zelda film trilogy and applied the same passion, effort and vision, as Jackson did with the original LOTR trilogy. We could have an epic, fantasy epic series for a new generation.
