The great fairy seems more based on other games, some enemies definitely are, there was the ship on the sea, and some enemies that definitely weren't Ocarina. I thought that made it more authentic. Sometimes directors take a shot zooming in one direction. Then in editing they decide they shouldn't done it zooming in the opposite direction. So they'll splice it in going backwards. (If they make this mistake on a panned shot, they can simply flip the film to reverse left and right.)

If they did a Zelda film trilogy and applied the same passion, effort and vision, as Jackson did with the original LOTR trilogy. We could have an epic, fantasy epic series for a new generation. The lore is deep and rich, the characters are iconic and the scale is enormous. The Zelda series deserves to have a successful film franchise.
