To be fair, Link lost his memories, and when he wakes up a random ghost looking girl claims to be his girlfriend AND the princess who is currently fighting a massive demon and needs Link's help. If you were Link, woke up from a coma, had no memories of your past, a weird ghost looking woman kept telling you that you were dating and asked for help killing a massive demon that could destroy kingdoms, would you help her?
