These are some very fun instrumentation choices. Also, the Pirates/Groose/Linebeck mashup was a fun addition! I love hearing those three getting combined in different permutations, haha! Even more fun, and totally unexpected was the inclusion of the house theme from the oracle games! That song is so underappreciated! Hilda's Theme and Song of Storms were my favourite moments! ^_^

This is sooo coool. For some reason the vocal doo's fit absolutely perfectly, different from other acapella's, you're like a human synth. And the song of storms jazzy bass solo.... *chef's kiss*. Out of interest, how did you decide on the track order? I made a zelda medley myself, and just did a song from every game in order, but you've mixed and matched all sorts with different interesting transitions. Did you plan it out, or just go ham with the musical ideation?

Thank you so much for your compliments! I really appreciate it! 😊 When I create transitions between songs, I focus on connecting them seamlessly. I do this in a couple of ways: Shared Key: If the songs are in the same key, it’s straightforward to fit them together. Melodic Connection: I often ensure that the ending note of the melody in one song fits harmoniously with the first chord or tonality of the next. For example, if the last chord of the first song is C major and the melody ends on an E (the third note in the chord), that E should also work with the opening chord of the next song. Depending on the choice of chord, E might serve as: The fifth note in A minor or A major, The minor third in C# minor, The root note in E minor or E major, and so on. Sometimes, I’ll switch keys but keep a common root note-for instance, moving from a minor to a major key. The key idea is to make the transition feel natural and cohesive by ensuring that the melodic and harmonic elements flow together smoothly. There are so many possibilities.

another instant fave. The guitar managing to mimic the wavery brasses in the pirate themes was incredible. The heavy vocal leads made it impossible not to hum along.. and each is the perfect lead-in to the next, even when they jump decades. Especially then.

WOW. That was an amazing production. I can't even imagine how much time and effort went into this. So many different pieces and different instrumental and vocal parts. I love that you included at least one tune from each mainline Zelda game so each game could have its time to shine! I loved your song choice as well - every time the song changed I was like "oh yeah I love this one, too!" Your arrangements are so unique and satisfying to listen to. I loved how you really grooved along to Song of Storms, and the 5/4 pulse was an awesome choice. The transition between songs was brilliant as well. Every transition was masterful and worked very well. I especially loved the transition from the LA Title Theme into the WW Pirate Ship theme and then AGAIN into Groose's Theme??? Absolutely nuts how you made all these songs fit together so well. Anyway, enough gushing from me. This is awesome and seriously impressive! I hope this video gets a lot of attention, you really deserve it!

Thank you so much Kmads! This one was quite time consuming, but yet so exciting to make. It's always a challenge to fit all the songs together. Usually I need to change the key or reharmonize the chords to make them fit, but sometimes the tunes fits perfectly by them self, Like pirate ship, Groose's theme and Lindebeck's theme. I've always felt like those tree tunes sound so alike. That's one of the things that I love so much with Zelda ost, that so many tunes have similar melodic phrases and motives. Like outset island and kokiri Forest, or windfall island and kakariko village.
