@@PresidentFlip Yep, in the Royal Crypt. But tMC is a bit old too, and this theme should be a classic just like Hyrule Field is. The mysterious yet dangerous atmosphere it brings is just right :) And this cover is absolutely perfect, so much intensity in it. I'm open to novelty too, they proved they definitely knew their stuff was their amazing take on Ballad of the wind fish + castle theme in BotW which turned to be the most badass song of the game (exterior hyrule castle theme)

I mean we got all that but instead of this it was Link, Zelda, and Ganons theme mixed with an original piece. I do hope this makes a comeback for a Cave or Dungeon theme in Tears of the Kingdom though, like how the original Death Mountain was for BotW, hopefully similarly to how that theme was converted to a sort of ambience, this will be too. 2:32 is that moment where you find the boss in the Dungeon, and it's this hulking behemoth of a dragon. I like to imagine that it's a Gleeok of some sort, and it just dwarfs you with your lantern in one of your hands, and your sword in the other hand.

However, Miyamoto, Tezuka, Nakago, Soejima, Marui and Kondo made us enjoy the quickly-passing decades with the greatest gift in the entire world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

This brings me so much life. Y'all have no idea. It literally has saved me listening to this. Understanding how this soundtrack from childhood impacts adulthood, proves that Link's journey is a reflection to all of our journeys; learning how to wake up as an adult. This composer expressed all of that. I sit back and praise this group of humanity for taking the time to interpret the emotion behind this music. Though a small piece of time to some, it is moments like this that helps us move forward, triumphantly, despite the odds. Like Link, its' time for us to take down a dungeon wall or two.

The 2nd quest was fun as well.

Those games are Twilight Princess, the NES version obviously, and Breath of the Wild.

Imagine playing a new 3d zelda game, walking in a long open dark tunnel and then you slowly see the shadow of a giant Ganon pig/dog appearing in the distance, through the half lit tunnel, and you know, you just know, you are Hyrule only hope, the chosen one, and it's your duty, nay your destiny, go forth and vanquish that beast. That music is what should be playing
@katherinelewis27354 жыл бұрын
and ad a thunderstorm outside of that dark tunnel.
@bravescience39573 жыл бұрын
I would make a legend of Zelda nes original remake with modern graphics and have it retain its dark atmosphere. 3D, not 2d. It would be understood that Ganon already won. It’s not like he’s trying to return or take over, no. In this game he won. The adventure takes places YEARS after Ganon won. It should have a shadow of the colossus vibe. There is nobody around in the land, it’s a land overrun with monsters. You’re visiting a ruined place. This Link, should not be a Legolas pretty boy, he should be weather beaten, covered in dirt. A Siegfried, Tarzan sort of character. Feral, wild. He was left behind the in the evacuation of Hyrule. His starting armor is a bear skin pelt over his shoulder, cave man like. Even though he eventually gets shield, sword and proper armor, his motion under the controller’s influence should not be precise and controlled like a knight. Armor or no armor this Link is still a feral little beast. Any special moves are done in complete ignorance and are comedic in that they actually worked. The player should never forget Link is not a knight errant. He should be very out of place. He would also be significantly younger than Zelda. Zelda shouldn’t be his peer in this version. The breaking of the triforce of wisdom was years ago. Impa is no longer the strong warrior she once was and is easily cornered by Ganon’s minions. Just like the original, Impa goes looking for a champion warrior. She’s resisted though from leaving Hyrule, think Uzumaki, unable to leave town. Link saves Impa because she’s the first person he has ever seen in years. People are like dreams, memories to him it’s been so long. He can’t speak, obviously, but through magic, of course, he learns of Zelda and the Triforce etc etc. Impa dies. Thus fueling Link’s drive to stop Ganon. It’s one thing for a monster to steal venison from him, but kill the only person he has been able to find? The 9 dungeons can have a story behind their shape that is left loose enough for players to speculate on. Should have a Jewish abomination of desolation thing going on. They were once, very important sacred places, now they are rotting, mournful. The music in this video the way it starts slow evokes this. Link’s apprehension. When Link defeats Ganon, Zelda and Link leave Hyrule and tell everyone Hyrule is free of Ganon’s influence. People can settle there again. She becomes a prophetess of sorts and Link is her guard. Link and Zelda do not live to see this mass migration. The name of this game, the legend of Zelda, is not because it’s about Zelda but rather it’s the legend OF Zelda, as in, when the people finally retake and resettle Hyrule they refer back to what Zelda would tell them about Hyrule, and the stories she would tell. “It just like the legend of Zelda!” the people exclaim when they see the various landmarks and things Zelda would speak of. But yeah…. Let’s have another cartoon bright colored bubble gum looking Zelda game.

If you would've told me as a kid that this would be featured in a symphony, I would've asked you what a symphony was and then when I found out, laughed about it because I wouldhave thought someone was playing a joke on me. My hat is off to the SRS for performing this and moreso to Koji Kondo for having the ability to create this from the few little notes and sounds available and creating such a timeless piece. Think about this, Beethoven and other classical composers created timeless works and had orchestral insturments in their wide ranges and infinite combinations to create their amazing works. Composers like Tanaka and Kondo had 5 channels (2 with square waves, 1 with triangle waves, and 1 for pulse beats and a sample 1bit channel) to create their masterpeices. Literally like 9 notes across what was the digital equivalent of a bass, drum or sample track, 2 three note tracks for 1/4 to whole notes, and one track for 1/16 notes. To further exemplify what I am saying look at this to know wht NES was working with: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opKWlKKBatWka9k This track used to give me chills a kid and get me anxious about what was around the next corner. Without tracks like these in NES games, I don't know that I would've been so entertaianed with games and would have probably gone outside more and not wrote this comment for sure. They were connective tissue for the games. This was a phonemenon in a way as if you really look at the NES library of games, the games that had great cound tracks were almost always popular, with the exception of a few (i.e. Journey to Silius we see you) and the ones that didn't often faied to hit the mark (with of course a few exceptions like Tetris, but one could argue that sound track was so neurally ingraining that it was nothing short of amazing).
