All is right with the world once again now that Mike is back to streaming *awesome* and great games. Keep on streaming chief!

Press Start on controller one then Up and A on controller two to go to the save screen. Save and then it saves your progress and gets you out of places you can be potentially stuck in.

Ever since i was a kid i thought the only way to save was to get killed.

Missed the end of this from a power outage. Great game. Got a copy and the save battery is still kicking. Funny how a system from the 80s still works, but a modern system seems to break down in a matter of a few years.

Retro systems are far less complicated, and thus more reliable, thankfully.

Its just a tiny watch battery in those old NES cartridges, too. Nothing fancy at all. It blows my mind that they've lasted this long
@tmpardi777 жыл бұрын
All of my original NES games with save batteries are still working. I think it comes down to what kind of use they got, as well as how you stored them. I believe storing games in a dry location that doesn't get too warm or have fluctuating temps can lengthen the life of the battery.
@theonewiththeeyeoftruth8847 жыл бұрын
tmpardi77 Still, the hardware on modern systems doesn't last very long. It has a lot to do with moving parts too.

You can actully escape the "leave your money or life-room" in level 4 just by walkwalk downwards. You don't need to reset game or lose a heart. :)

For the Dodongos, if you bomb them and they walk into the smoke, hit them with your sword twice (with a wooden sword, once if white or magic) and they will die and drop a bomb.

Best way to get more bombs!

This game is so great I have to do second quest again...I'm rusted. I remember being stuck in level 4 too but there's a way out, it's just not easy.

I knew I saw this going on the other night. great stream buddy.
@jeffk17223 жыл бұрын
2:00:54 I thought about that too, but ultimately I think I'd end up doing it way too often. It'd definitely save money though, since you'd only need access to one or two great movies per genre.

blowing the whistle in a dungeon will warp you to the entrance, both quests

I got massive head trauma and I forgot so many movies and books I loved. Also it keeps me from remembering short term memory so I can watch a movie dozens of times and forget it directly after. My long-term memory is still pretty good though.

Awesome I have been waiting for this Mike. Can you do Zelda outlands as well on a video? I know you have played it before but I don't think there is a video
@Xanophalgue7 жыл бұрын
The dodongos can be stabbed in one shot after being stunned with the smoke from a bomb if you let the bomb blow up in front of them.
@tmpardi777 жыл бұрын
Good tip, and to add to that they will also always drop a bomb pickup. This is an invaluable strategy for when fighting multiple Dodongos at once.

It really blew my mind that Mike didn't know this. It's his all time favorite game, and he's beaten it so many times. I discovered this dozens of times as a child by accident back in the late 80's.

Going Bananas, All I Want For Christmas, Caddyshack II, Christmas Vacation 2: Eddie's Island Adventure, Porky's II, Jaws the Revenge (even though I dig it), and Judge Dredd(ful) are some of my picks for real dud (or stupid) movies. Nice play through.

Mike, have you seen "The Changeling" starring George C. Scott?
@chaosprime16294 жыл бұрын
the second quest is evil but it is still the best bonus content any zelda game has because it is at least different unlike OoT MQ which has random puzzles and only changed dungeon rooms.

Hopefully he sees this but in order to get more bombs from dodongos you have to feed them one and place another one and after the second explodes slash at him and you should get more. Hopefully I remembered that correctly. x.x

A three heart run would be a wood sword only run.
@GirlGamer8677 жыл бұрын
jrco2001 last time I checked those two weren't synonymous for one another.
@jrco20017 жыл бұрын
GirlGamer Mike had recently talked about doing a three heart run and a wooden sword run. In a three heart run you can only get the wooden sword so doing a separate wooden sword only run would be pointless.
@GirlGamer8677 жыл бұрын
jrco2001 my point is that you can do a wooden sword only run while still getting all the heart containers.
@jrco20017 жыл бұрын

I would totally buy this and some of the classic Mario games on Steam if Nintendo would sell them. I bet a lot of other people would too. I don't want to buy a console when I already have a computer.

Hey Mike -- I bet you would really benefit from a standing desk for all these long game plays. It's bad for your health to sit for such long periods. This is not a sales pitch. I don't have any financial stake or employment in any of the companies that sell standing desks, just a friendly suggestion.
