Only problems are awkward controls, which I eventually got over, and the TEARS, I could handle 1 trial, maybe 3 if they were different, but the fact that you have to do the tear thing 3 times if you can even complete the first 2 trials... too bad this didn't mention a glitch to skip the trials. What is your opinion on them? Though I loved everything else in the game besides those 2 things.

WolfWhiteFire I thought the tear trials were fine. They definitely got your blood pumping when you were being chased by those giant sword guys. I liked them better than the stupid insect tear quests in twilight princess. They did kind of feel like padding though, I could have done without them.

My friends, and even my sister who is usually more pro at Zelda games than I, but had problems with this game, would watch me play and just go, "Wait, how did you do that so easily?! It took me forever to do that!" Yeah, one part that gave my sister a headache, and actually required my helping her was the Eldin Trial to get the Fire-shield Earrings. She said she had tried it like thirty times. I played for her...and nailed it on the first shot! The only part that REALLY gave me a headache was defeating Ghirahim the third time! THAT was a nightmare for me!

Idk probably datamining. I can see this being really hard to find out normally. Like, i understand how people find out of bounds, since clipping through walls is basically guaranteed in any game. I mean, even SMB3??? you can clip through walls in SMB3!!! In the devs defense, however, collision is probably hard to make secure. theyre bound to slip up here and there. But then how do you find the BiT glitch? Definitely not by accident and not from "expirementing" (e.g humping walls). Which makes me think it was datamining. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

The Zelda speedrunning community found that glitch, and they're the ones that make use of it. They figured out how to use BiT to complete Skyward Sword in a little over one hour. I seriously doubt any regular players would make use of BiT, because it's just ridiculous.

In Wind Waker after you enter Hyrule, you can perform a strange glitch. Go to the path that leads from Hyrule castle to the entrance to Ganon's tower. Get one of the Moblins on the path to follow you back to the entrance to the castle. Get the Moblin between yourself and the doorway, and use your Boomerang to knock it back into the doorway. Once it's far enough into the doorway it will disappear behind the black back wall. Pull out your Hookshot and use it on the Moblin to pull yourself back there too. You're now in the castle...sort of.

There's nothing to legitimately criticize about the controls. They work flawlessly, as long as you calibrate your wiimote every time you start playing. It takes 3 seconds and that's the only explanation for how 0.01% of people say they don't work. Those people must just not calibrate or their Remotes are broken. I (and the vast majority of players) have never experienced any issues whatsoever. This is a classic case of a vocal minority.

Very ignorant to talk down people like that. I bought a Remote Plus with the game when it came out and I had to callibrate it every 20 minutes or less. On top of that, it wouldn't always respond. It definitely wasn't broken, because I still use it in other games and it works perfectly fine. Kind of sad to see people like you tell people like me off simply because I don't have the same experience as you do. Mind you, I love the game.

If someone thinks that's a bullshit excuse, go use a pair of left-handed scissors in your right hand, and tell me it's not uncomfortable. It's the same principle here. I either have to play with my right hand, or use my left and adjust for the sword's position, which is extremely funky. It's not unplayable, but I will certainly _never_ experience the same game mechanics that a right-handed player takes for granted.

You can get to Zelda's room by grappling to the chimney, ther you see Zelda's father taking a bath and if you follow the path you're in you fall into Zelda's room. This is a way of getting a gratitude orb.

omg THANK YOU FOR THE WATER TEMPLE GLITCH! I just did it and got the whip and beat the boss all in like 10 mins. That dungeon took me FOREVER the last time I played through this game.

If you do the run above Skyloft glitch and go to the stairs towards the goddess statue at some point it does the glitch of you sliding down a hill and you will end slightly above the stairs Edit: If you keep going there's a block-like invisible substance and if you climb it you go into the load zone

back in time was first found in twilight princess and this has the same engine. then people messed around with it and found quite a few uses. the others, coincidence mostly. some tail and error.

Btw there is a new glitch found by gymnast86 in may of 2019. If you were to start your file on the same frame you close a textbox, you could apply the flag for the file you have started. This is known as reverse BiT magic in where you apply skyloft flags into the main game. It has saved almost an hour from skyward sword speedruns. Also in june of 2019, it was found by azer67 that you could access faron while in Back in Time, which ultimately allowed for more scene flags to be discovered, as well as song of the hero skip which saved an hour. Now the WR is 2:09:22 by sva. Crazy how the speedrunning community for this game is so active.

+Ben DuMonde A lot of people trying to find skips for speedrunning. It was in Twilight Princess too, but it was done differently, is way harder to do imo (only managed to activate it once compared to basically any time I want in SS) and tbh I have no idea what you can do with the TP version.
