Inspiration behind this video:
The upcoming cinematic adaptation of The Legend of Zelda looks more exciting than ever in light of the success of another blockbuster. Based on the Nintendo game series that's been thrilling gamers for decades, The Legend of Zelda is set to bring a version of Link and Zelda to the big screen. Especially after the commercial success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, expectations are high for Director Wes Ball's take on Legend of Zelda. The success of other high-fantasy adaptions like The Lord of the Rings and The Witcher prove that vivid fantasy worlds can translate well to live-action.
The trick is maintaining the unique visual elements and archetypes of the source material, while exploring it with the unique visual strengths of the medium of film. Luckily, Ball's experience with The Maze Runner franchise placed him in the right tone for a prospective live-action Legend of Zelda adventure, speaking to his capabilities in adapting adventure stories. His latest cinematic success is very impressive in that regard, specifically because of the ways it approaches a potentially tricky and vast visual story with the same kind of energy a Legend of Zelda adaptation would need to succeed on the big screen.

Since Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes director Wes Ball had taken inspiration from Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli films for his upcoming Legend of Zelda movi , my hope in Link x Princess Zelda’s relationship is as romantic but vastly understated where it comes out of the ' subtle hints' Nintendo has in put in recent games such as Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild.

''Dream Crusher mode activated'' First of all, I know, it's a Fan Trailer with images which, by the way, are super nice BUT, there are a lot of stupid things already: - No, the film will not be produced by Universal Pictures, of course they blew it off at Nintendo, but the real studio that is really in charge of the film is Sony Pictures, we even have Avi Arad (Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, the 2 The Amazing Spider-Man and the Jon Watts trilogy with Tom Holland) confirmed as one of the producers of the film - Uh... Anya Taylor Joy, she didn't play (Or double) Princess Peach in the Mario film made by Illuminations (The Despicable Me quadrilogy, Minions 1 & 2, Sing 1 & 2,...) WHO HIM is produced by Universal Pictures and besides, if it ever happens, it will be weird to see Anya Taylor Joy talking to herself in a Super Smash Bros. movie. - For the casting (The ''real'') of the princess, there are rumors that actress Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) would like to play the character because she is a fan of the saga. PS: In the list of actors who could play Link (The list was communicated by Hollywood Reporter), there is no Tom ''Songoku'' Holland and no Timothée ''Vegeta'' Chalamet, sorry. Not a real trailer. However, Nintendo did announce in November 2023 that they wanted to make a live action movie of The Legend of Zelda." No release date yet as they are still working on it.
