Love to see you checking the dungeon walls for invisible doors haha a second quest finisher I presume

Oh yes but it's been years since I finished the original second quest now. I should revisit it one day! After playing other Zelda hacks that put invisible doors all over the place, it kind of became a necessity to check for them. This is a great hack though. Lots of new things to experience but not incredibly difficult like some other hacks. Thanks for watching!

@@subledger. Ok if you had to suggest one Zelda hack for my to try as my first one, any suggestions?

@@Cueya Well the only Zelda 1 hacks I've played are Whistle of Steam, A New Light, and Perils of Darkness. I have videos of all three on this channel if you're curious but I'd say that Whistle of Steam and A New Light are considerably easier than Perils of Darkness, even though I really enjoyed all three. I was able to coast through the first two pretty easily and thought they were both great but Perils of Darkness took me quite a bit more effort. That being said, it's very well made and has two quests and also three difficulty levels (I played the first quest on normal) so it can be toned down (or up) depending on your skill level. I'm really excited to try a brand new hack called The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Dungeon. This one is a totally different approach and is more like one huge randomly generated dungeon if what I heard is correct. Finally, if you haven't tried any of the Zelda randomizers, those can be a blast! I've played several iterations of those, and the difficulty can be tailored to your liking. Hopefully that helps. I'd be interested to know which one(s) you choose!

Interesting, was this one influenced by botw?
@subledger.2 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh it's Julie Uhrman! 😀 I don't see any reference to BotW in the hack's description on romhacking.net but the mechanical theme seems like it might be loosely inspired by it. I certainly recommend it if you're looking for a light-hearted fun hack of Zelda 1. Might even be able to be ported to the Ouya!

@@subledger. Oh yes the Ouya and also the Intellivision Amico.
