I used to live in LA and he came to town 2-3 times I saw him. Maybe he’s been more but I saw him 2-3 times. He was kinda underrated. Only the local dedicated househeads were present-which was cool. But Mr. Gene Hunt is dope af! The venues should’ve been at Maximum Overdrive! I love LA as my hometown but for a “worldwide” city it’s whack af in some respects. I visited Chicago for the time summer 2024 and it was Heaven for me. More happening and gritty than LA but not nameless or overwhelming like NYC can be-though to fair I haven’t been to NYC yet. But I get the impression NYC can be rough.
