The Legendary Pink Dots were an anglo-dutch experimental rock band formed in London in August 1980.
I think some when in 1984 the band moved from England to the Netherlands/Amsterdam, playing with rotating musicians and having, as core members, singer/songwriter/keyboardist Edward Ka-Spell (I know there are different spelling versions)and keyboardist Phil Knight.
I met and talked to the band just before their concert at the at least as legendary venue Grosse Freiheit 36 in Hamburg. The interview was first aired by Tele5 in my show off beat end of February 1989.
I do not own any right to the performed material. The band performed this for my tape adding to the interview.
