Eve still my favorite female rapper ever. She had a great career, then decided to leave for other opportunities. Skill wise I don't think she could be touched as far as mainstream female rappers.

The very first song that got me liking her was the sing "Eve of destruction" when she was with Dr Dre. That song was off the " Bullworth(98)" soundtrack. The best fit for her was being with Ruff Ryder's. She got the most exposure with them. I think that on her entire career she put out 4 albums. The 4th was around 2013. She can hold her own on the 🎙️!

Haven’t watched this one yet but Eve’s career was far from stunted. She sold millions of copies while respecting herself (last woman to do it) and then had a successful career as an actress, her clothing line seem to have been doing well at one point too. She got married to a billionaire and is a kept woman….she won at life and she did it her way.

Eve was that rapper that everybody wanna hear, because she was that good of a rapper. Ma$e gave her a perfect opportunity to get her into rapping. She was signed to Aftermath at first, but Dr. Dre was the hardest person to work with and he dropped her. What a dumb MF!!! He missed out on her When she went to Ruff Ryders, that was a perfect place for her and that’s how she was successful. I still love her music til this day. I bet she can still spit bars today, so she is still better than 98% of the female rappers that you hear on the radio.

Eve did everything she was supposed to do. She parlayed a successful rap career into other successful ventures such as her tv show and movies, she laid low, married well, and now she just works when she wants to. And all while looking fabulous and being comfortable in her own skin. She's really an inspiration to the younger rap girlies coming up. ❤

Eve should be celebrated as The First Lady of Ruff Ryders and have become a superstar crossing over not just rap, but pop and R&B as well. She deserves so much respect. One of my favorite songs from EVE were Love Is Blind, Ride Or Die, Chick (With The LOX), Gangsta Love, and Let Me Blow Ya Mind (which was one of the biggest pop anthems of 2001).
