The Leo's Loo Too

Today I unboxed, setup, and gave my initial impressions on the Leo's Loo Too automatic litter box. Special thanks to Smarty Pear for sending me this unit to review. Look for additional videos in the coming weeks on this as well as a comparison between the Leo's Loo Too and the Litter Robot 4.

I had the LR3 i didnt have an issue til year 4. Now with my LR4 ive had a few issues after 6 months. I still love her but i think i want a second box just in case it fails. May have to look into this box

Another tip(I gave you a tip on your last video about the little robot 4) I used to use this litter, but I switched to Arm & Hammer clump and seal slide. It works so much better in the literal robot, Is AND way less tracking!

So far in the packing alone big bonuses. I just got my two litter robots 4 and in the process of setting them up and fingers crossed I don't have the issues you experienced.

Are you still liking the LLT? Did you ever get the LR4 working? Debating between these two but worried about longevity after the 1 year warranty is up with the LLT since they haven’t been around as long and not sure if you can get replacement parts like with LR.

I don’t believe the litter robot 4 is as bad as what your making it out to be. I bought the Leo loos too , and your making it seem better then what it actually is . Quality isn’t that great . And I never got half the staff that u got with yours .

It's all about perspective. When I spend $600 on a litter box, it needs to work as advertised. I had issue after issue with the LR4. The build quality is not very good and the lack of customer service and support is a deal breaker. The Loo, while maybe not as feature packed, simply works as advertised. And for $600, that's what I expect.

I own 3 litter robots (I’ve owned 5 over the years) and the loo. At this point the loo is better by a mile.

@@MrBbifferson How long have you owned the loo? I want an automatic litter box that lasts years. I have 2 litter robots that worked pretty well until I had had them a little over one year. Now neither works. We tried to fix them and finally gave up. The cats use them but we clean them ourselves since neither works. I am hoping to find an automatic litter box that lasts more than one year. I paid too much money for them only to last a little over one year.

It goes in the front of the waste tray. There are two small openings on the bottom of the drawer they slide into.

Thanks for this unboxing❤ six months after: how's it going? have you had any issues with the connection with the app? still think that one button is enough or should it have more buttons/options on the machine instead of only by app? if you can give us an update

The mat is no longer included. Kind of looks like there is a lot of flimzy plastic and the fact that you had a hard time filling it up with cat liter is a major flaw. I think that I will pass on both, this and the LR4

Leo’s loo only cares if you buy the product… when it stops working they tell you all kinds of ways to trouble shoot but ultimately leads to you having to use a normal litter box. Don’t spend your money. It’s expensive and the customer services is deceitful

The problem I see is that the inside dimensions are smaller than the litter robot 4. If you have a larger cat (which you say she is ) she is not going to feel as comfortable in your new robot. I suggest you set them up side by side and see which one the cats use the most.

I actually did just that and she preferred the Loo. And she's definitely a husky girl.

We have a Maine Coon and he's 15.5 lbs but he's just big. He doesn't have any issues getting in there. Our "fat kitty" is 13 lbs but she's supposed to be a lot smaller. She's just really chunky. Both of them use the Loo with no issues

I been really happy with mine since December 24! A great gift for the kitties it does what it says and have had no issues at all! The only thing I am wondering how am I supposed to change the litter ? Or take out the old one and clean everything I guess idk hahahaha But I am pretty happy tho you helped a lot with encouraging me buying it!!

Did you get the Loo or the LR4? The Loo, it works best to remove the shroud and then pull the globe out. That way you can dump the Litter into a trash bag and then scrub out the globe. The LR4 has an empty function that rotates the globe backwards and dumps all the Litter into the drawer. Then you can remove the globe and clean it.

Can you tell me how many days does it take for the waste container to get to the lid? assuming you have two cats using it. Thanks in advance for the answer.

It can usually go 2-3 days before it needs a shakedown. You can remove the waste bin lid also to help. With our two cats it can go 4-5 days before the bag needs changed but it will require a shaking to settle everything every couple of days.

If anyone has any insights on the waste container and its issues, please let me know. I'm thinking of getting this machine but worried that if the capacity of the waste container, due to the lid closure, is no better than the small container of the LitterMaid then it would not serve the purpose for me. I just got mine. Love it but still trying to understand some features: scheduled daily cleaning? What’s that? Also, should I set 2 cleaning cycles instead of the default setting at one cycle?

I’ve been at it for over an hour trying to pair it, it will get to like 90 percent then fail. Anyone with this issue?

I haven't seen any issues with it pairing. What kind of phone are you using? Is the phone up to date on all software updates?

@@dontburnthehousedownvideos iPhone 8 fully updated, it actually got to 100 percent and still fail. At this point I give up, hope it still performs without being pair up.

It absolutely should. It doesn't require the app to run. You just don't see the notifications. Unfortunately the iPhone 8 is getting pretty old and I would assume the Bluetooth radio isn't compatible with the Loo.

There is a terrible flaw with the Pooh overflowing out the tray into the inside of the unit. It throws off the weight system as well as the odor. So you end cleaning the entire box/system over and over. So there is no upside. NONE 😡 It's an expensive waste of money

Take the plastic door off of the waste tray. . That fixed it for me.
