Id put some white marine grade silicone on those caps to stop vibrations in vehicles, reason marine no nasty's in materials\smell and looks better than hot glue coated radios parts.HT filter great for Am,but too tight for FM in UK,I tend to swap them out for the LT455G version as bit wider IF response and better suited for FM use where located in world, reset fm tx deviation to 2.2khz suited for UK FM CB band or EU\UK 10 Ham uses.CRT France do have a version with the CTCSS\DCS board included, not sure about the AT-6666? Nice vid Lester and PCB board very neat in these radios. Rob 73's

Good idea however the silicone will not release with just alcohol like the hot glue. You would have to "dig" it out.

Does this still work on 10m? For those of us who are HAMs but also secretly talk on CB bands (dont tell my friends)

Lester, any decent service manuals for this model as the Chinese are known not to provide them. Do you just use the Stryker version which is fairly close. If you want to sell manuals I would be interested in them myself and an additional product for you to provide.

I have the anytone 6666. When I key up the mic I get a dc low message on screen. Would you happen to know why this is happening? Using a pyramid 21kx to power it.

Significant current drain from within the radio or metering IC faulty.
