Just to clarify for Non-Brits. It's not that you "need a licence" to have a TV, it's a misnomer of sorts. It's essentially a tax to fund public broadcasting on radio and television from the BBC. Everybody has access to their programming and infrastructure, their news is supposed to be unbiased (although depending on host/talking head they can personally lean). Then as a result you are not interrupted by 3rd party advertisements breaking up shows or in between shows on BBC Channels. The rest of the channels all have ad breaks and are independent broadcasters (still subject to Ofcom rules). So whilst you can own a Television without a licence say if you only have a PC or games console, but you cannot access national broadcast TV without it.

Even if the outcome is victimless, the actions have a high enough likelihood to not be. For example: drunk driving is still a crime, even just from a social perspective, even if you don't end up harming others.

A week is not enough, swimmy can track people from that distance very easily. Revealing the accounting figures should be ok after 3-6 months, locations shouldn't be revealed until after term ends. We have oversight in place for these things; it just needs to be used properly (ie FBI) Everything is some kind of metadata, if you have enough you get closer to predictions rather than guessing or luck

Kirsten Drysdale is a journalist and works on a program where people can send in questions about anything and get answers. The show is What the FAQ and is on ABC Australia on Wednesday night and there was a segment last week. She was trying to answer the question: are there any names you cannot call your baby. As she was pregnant and close to the due date she the opportunity to check that the systems are working. There is supposed to be someone in the births, deaths and marriages department that checks and approves every names so someone should have caught it. Changing the name should not be a problem and as there is media coverage i'm sure they can get it fixed without too much trouble.
