Angie there were many sniffles in our little Spanish branch after we ended our primary program with your song today. I think what I love most is how the song teaches us a scripture story and then very beautifully and directly shows us the heart or message of this scripture story and how it applies to our lives. And the message you teach the children is one they can take and apply to their lives now and they will use it even more the older they become. It very deeply touches me today and has helped heal parts of my heart. Muchas gracias!

It needs to be & better than the songs I sang in primary that didn’t invite the spirit. My next door kids were excited to share this new song with me. All 3 of them ages 2,5 & 7 sang along to this wonderful song & it brought tears to my eyes. Not too many songs touch my heart & this one is in the top 3 for for me.

Wow you lost me at 2:06 and onward. Receiving direct revelation from the Lord through the Spirit gets suddenly replaced with having to recieve revelation from "priesthood channels" general authorities and local authorities. The book of Mormon talks about how THE LORD guided Lehi and his family through the wilderness not local authorities. The LDS church doesn't even teach what the book of Mormon constantly teaches, to come unto Christ, have a personal relationship with HIM and recieve revelation directly from HIM.

The first 2/3 of the song talks about receiving personal revelation through prayer and the Holy Ghost. I also believe the Lord can speak to us through prophets, inspired leaders, scriptures, and Priesthood blessings. It's not either or; it's and. PS: Lehi was the local authority ;)
