Hi! No retranspose! Anyone can download these famitracker files here - sites.google.com/view/famitrackers; And Jake has already done some magic and is turning it into an awesome soundtrack - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fordfamVjcyqbM0; Amazing The Noble Demon did a great remix too - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWLCe6FqaZWKmdU. Thanks!

So the fact that this was made in famitracker means that you could play the SK soundtrack on an actual SNES/NES (if you put the file in a cartridge)?

I think it'd be an amazing project if someone tried to get a simplified version of Shovel Knight to work on an actual SNES

Yacht Club themselves commented on this around when Shovel Knight first released in 2014 and yes, it is indeed possible to put any of the Shovel Knight OSTs on an NES and have them play through the console itself.

Let me get this straight: You took the instruments from Shovel of Hope and used them to recreate soundtracks from the other games? Do you have some other tricks there? Because that sounds really time-consuming! I found your channel after I received an nsf-file of this song and was asked to alter it for an event. I can't be much more specific since it's not public yet, but I'll look to it that your name gets mentioned. It took me a while to find this video; I even finished my work on the imported nsf before I found your gracious offer of the fmt file... I'm really impressed how faithful this and the many, many other recreations you made sound! Do you by chance still have the original FamiTracker files of Shovel of Hope? I remember that Jake Kaufman did make them public, but nowadays I can only seem to find the nsf-files on the Internet.

Hi! The instruments from /Shovel of Hope/, / Specter of Torment/ and /King of Cards/ are the same. I did a little reverse engineering nsf from shovel of hope to get them. I would be happy to study the nsf file Lich Yard from Specter of Torment, but I think you have the original melody from the first game (SoH). As far as I know, Jake did not publish fmt files, only nsf. (I check the bandcamp link - virt.bandcamp.com/album/shovel-knight-original-soundtrack, only nsf-file is published) And I don't have fmt files(

@@famitrackers Hey, thanks for the response! I see, so you imported the file, rebuilt the instruments, then recreated the songs with those instruments. I can imagine that this is fairly easy for SoH (thanks to the nsf), but for the other games that's pretty remarkable! No, I am fairly certain that the nsf I received was exported from your file - even if it was done by someone else. The displayed song / module information is completely identical. And I know the difference between SoH, SoT and KoC. Maybe I just picked up some wrong rumors, then. Looks like the most accurate file we could recreate are Propeller Knight's stage and boss of SoH since he released a video with his tracker sheet back in 2014.
