Today is markedly a very sad day. Randy Meissner has died. I grew up like a lot of people. We had the best music ever. I loved many bands but felt the need to pick one as my all time favorite. I loved Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and so on. But I kept coming back to the Eagles. For several reasons I ended up picking them as my all time favorite group. My All time favorite song of theirs is Take it to the Limit I have felt this way for years. I am completely heartbroken that Randy has died I hope all the people like me can commiserate together. 😞

Yes indeed. The 70’s I believe was the best decade in music, with its roots beginning in the 60’s. I’m blessed to have been alive in that era, the country was carefree and laid back. Politics was nowhere near as vitriolic as today. Did I mention the music was amazing ? We had the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Skynyrd, Zeppelin, Van Halen, Journey , Boston, Styx, Bad Company, KISS, Heart, and so many others. Yup, Randy Meisner was one of those great musicians, we didn’t know then how great we had it, $15-$25 for a concert ticket , .50 gasoline, today we have wokeness, God help us.
