@@avigenuth4395 Thank you for taking the time to reply. When I was a young boy I loved the character She played on "Lassie." Additionally, She had a lovely singing voice. I was sorry to learn that She had lost a young daughter. I believe it was in the 50's.

Hi there. I just finished watching Sunset Trail ( Hopalong Cassidy) and your grand mother was featured singing “A Cowgirl Dreams On”. What a lovely, talented singing voice she had !!! I fell in love with the haunting song and I desperately want to get her recording of this song ! Are you able to point me in the right direction to obtain this ? By the way, do you also sing ? Wouldn’t that be too cool to sing this well❤ Thanks-Donna

@@donna6193 unfortunately I don’t have access to that recording. I did inherit my grandmother’s singing abilities, to a much lesser degree. I will definitely consider doing a rendition.

She actually did very well in her older age. She was in FOLLIES on Broadway and received a great salary, lived in a nice New York apartment, and had a lot of friends. I saw her a lot.

I have always wondered why ever bio on her always passes over another TV pilot she stared in “Nelson Eddy’s Back Yard” where she sings a lovely duet with the baritone!

One of the most gorgeous women ever. Very underrated as an actress, so talented. She is the sole reason I watched Lassie, so hot. I loved how she was so smart in the show and out smarted her son and Father in law to get what she wants. I would've done anything for this Lady. She was taken away to soon. RIP my Love, thanks you for your presence.

The WHERE'S RAY" show mentioned starred Ray Bolger (the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz) in a weekly show in the 1950s. It has absolutely NOTHING TO DO with " EVERY BODY LOVES RAY" which post dates the Bolger show by at least 40 years. Presenting "history" even when dealing with a poorly made biography should be held to a high standard, or at least accurate.

This narrator is unbelievably annoying. I kept hearing her pronouncing Jan’s last name as “Clayun”. Is it only me? Also what Indian tribe is the “Comanch”? I’ve heard of the Comanche. Do this sites editors actually listen to the playback of their of their narrations? I don’t think so. If they do, they should be fired.

I had to stop watching this because of the narrator's inability to pronounce Jan Clayton's name. You hear this stuff all the time now days. Young lady, whoever you are, the T in Clayton is not silent. You say Clay n. That's a misspronunciation. You probably say Manha n for Manhattan, a word with two ts in it. Girls do this for some reason. Its wrong ladies. Stop it.

@@maggiebastolla5430 there was a dialect in the 70's called valley girl that you still hear some of today. They would add an "wah" sound to the end of some words like "no wah" etc. Very irritating.

Horrible narrator. She can't even pronounce the name of the subject properly - it's Clay-ton, not Clay-un. The narrator seems to have a problem with the letter "T", as I notice she says wri-in, instead of wriTTen. Maybe a robot narrator would be an improvement.
