Praise be Jesus and Mary! What an inspiration, Bro. Fritz! Thank you for your testimony of faith and witness to the love of God in Christ. I was touched when you said that what you wish for the Church is the renewal of the priesthood ❤️ A challenge to all of us priests 😇

The thing I remember most about Fritz’s ministry was him having introduced the Catholic community in Bangalore to the idea of being “born again.” Being a good Catholic was not good enough, he taught, you must be born again. He quoted liberally from the Bible, didn’t really focus on Catholic Church teaching, and encouraged people to read the Bible for themselves. He once told the story of tossing his rosary overboard, into the ocean. (Seems like he might have found it since.) He introduced us to Bible teachers like Bob Mumford (his self-confessed favourite), Derek Prince, Don Basham and many others. Nice to see Michel DaCosta featured here. Ram was another young ministry partner of the time. The Archbishop whom Fritz mentioned was, I think, Rev Pakiam Arokiaswamy, a most humble soul who regularly attended the Thursday night meetings at St. Joseph’s Boys School.

I do remember a day in every seminar was devoted to a teaching on sin and repentance. And most importantly Jn 3:3 " Unless a man is born again, He shall not even SEE the kingdom of God' .
