I don't have diabetes but I do have gastrointestinal problems, and saying that water replaces a high fiber diet or medication is so, so wrong. If I'm about to throw up the absolute last thing I'm gonna do is drink water. I mean, getting regular fluids in is good because you often lose a lot of water with throwing up or inflammation in your gut but... you can drink normal water, or even better if you want to be fancy, add some electrolyte mix in? My little brother had the flu last week. Eating soup abd drinking tea to get rid of "small" illnesses *are* home remedies and they work. Oat milk baths against stress rashes are a remedy and they work. Well, in most cases. Remedies are not medicine or "cures", they are just there to support the healing process. Even stuff like alternating footbaths to prevent cramps in the foot area and help with sore feet (it's a dancer's hack I learned back when I was still dancing ballet, it basically helped me survive) is a remedy.

Hm all of them are talking about the benefits of regular water, which you can drink for a lot less money. Water, it's good for you. If you drink more water when sick, it can help flush out more virus sometimes. (I've used this hack for years, now I use nasal rinses too.) Water is great for your digestion, especially avoiding constipation. Also... of COURSE he was a chiropractor 🙃
