Came here after watching Memoirs of a Geisha. That movie depicts Geishas so mysteriously and beautifully

And completely incorrectly. That book and movie actually hurt the geisha profession with how many harmful misconceptions were spread through it, and all the sexualization. Because women becoming successful through their arts wasn’t enough. You gotta add cattiness and sex into it to sell to western audiences.

Shes been doing that since 21 ive been doing it since 14 and the man that i learned and work for is retired he also asked to marry me and take me home and nothing but my comfort would change his brothers also have geisha and they let us work have fun and go to school i really like him the only reason i didnt marry him is because i want to see how long he can live plus he a great man i ve known him since we were kids he shows you how to make legal money if he really likes plus its a job to him also but they do marry just not in the way you think they have dates and work and home life and you can have as many as you want to be your brides i think thats what hes off doing now watching basket ball and telling her about how to works when is figures out its a little more to it and its placing for jobs as is all sports she will go far after all im a doctor of technology and a studing to become a nurse boy im i tired
