Literally. The guy above me always sounds as if he's rearranging his furniture whilst occasionally dropping a bowling ball. It was the same with the last guy up there. Must be something written into upstairs neighbour tenancy agreements - 'You must never sit down, and must always walk around in a stomping fashion, rearranging your furniture and dropping heavy, rolling items onto the floor. Failure to do so will constitute a breach of tenancy and result in forfeiture of your security deposit.'

When I first moved out I was so excited to get my own place I never even considered people living above me. I got the first apartment I saw and I was loving it.. for a week. Until i realized the people above me STOMPED AROUND 24/7!! I mean it sounded like elephants walking around up there! When they weren't stomping around they were screaming at each other! It was a NIGHTMARE! One night I lost it and pounded on the ceiling for an hour straight yelling at the top of my lungs 🤣🤣🤣🤣 When you can't sleep it really could drive you insane. Never again.. never ever. I'll sleep under a bridge in a hurricane before I live in a building with people living above me.

Same experience here. This is my first apartment and my upstairs neighbors stomp like they have a disabillity or something. When I talked with them the only thing I got was a "better look better next time, where you move in" and "just put earplugs in your ears." I swear, I did almost something very cruel at that moment, but I kept my composure at that day. It's torture how they stomp through their apartment and act like they own that place.

Then there are various sizes of bowling type balls - why she has a bocci ball AND a bowling ball she likes to drop every night, I don’t know, but such is the mystery of the upstairs neighbor with the hardwood floors and no rug.

Upstairs apartment etiquette is second nature to me, so it completely infuriates me when other people don't follow it. It's really not hard. Neighbors up there be like: It’s time for our daily routine. Starts moving table around the house
@ilyoongitoo39263 жыл бұрын
My neighbors move their tables around at like, 2-3 am every day. Who needs to move a table every day? At least move the table at 2-3 pm, like, let me sit on amino in peace
@taylorsawyers69553 жыл бұрын
Personally i have four dogs and make sure their nails all click on the floor i tie them to each leg of the table then play fetch.. Aftrr that i allow my children tap shoes to wear while jumping off random furniture while i vaccum and yell

I am the ground floor neighbor with the garden. My daily routine is letting my dog out to the garden, shouting at her when she barks at cats (adding to the noise), gardening in my underwear, and keeping anything the upstairs neighbors drop from their balconies into my garden as a token of my dominance.
