@@a.a.8145 Have you been to rural China? My grandparents live in a village very similar to Liziqi's, and their lives are very similar. Of course, its not quite as pretty, hers has a lot more flowers and mountains, but the land my grandparents live on is still very beautiful. The houses are far from each other with many rice paddies in between. The air is fresh and misty and a little smoky from the cooking fires. Each family has a large garden and fields and have chickens and goats. It is a beautiful place.

Actually, it was a positive article about her rise on KZbin, but did not try to pretend that it was realistic. And that there are a number of channels like this. In fact I watch a couple of others that aren't as slick and silly as this one is. More like real life. Initially the Chinese government was not happy that she was using KZbin, but when they found out how many people watched the videos they thought it would be a good way to try to get young people involved in farming. So the government decided to back her in some way that she will not explain. This channel is not as simple as many make it out to be and is extremely unrealistic. Anyone who farms and gardens will agree with me. It's meant to be a fantasy channel showing a very idyllic and romanticized version of the farm girl. I enjoy parts of it, but do not believe for one minute that she is not getting a lot of help, monetary and otherwise.
