I call that all the time in competitive play. It only makes sense to try and make your teammates stay alive. If you are in that position, but still decide not to play passive (stabilise, get heals) I mean. It's different if it's unavoidable death.

At 1:33 to 1:34 there’s like a few frames that were cut maybe by accident from the editor which makes it look really weird when he aims but at the time you’re saying, nothing crazy really happens. His aim doesn’t lock, if you notice it still drags to the sides where it’s the human errors / microadjustments.
