My fear is that leaves and other things will still get in, even just by the wind or drying out on the edge because theres a gap which is why I wouldnt fit it. Then what do you do about cleaning.

Yeah. I've tried other gutter leaf-proofing and thats what happens. I also think that smaller leaves like walnut or locust, the leaves would stick to the water just like the water sticks to the gutter. Then its just a matter of time before the whole thing is clogged and this looks like the worst system Ive ever seen for eventually having to clean it out.

Thought the same thing. It may keep bigger leaves and crud out but it will still accrue dirt and smaller debris that can stack up over time and become very hard to clean out.

Gutters need to be cleaned every years and seeds will grow in it and be impossible to clean out

Thats not a product issue, its a height issue and the theory with this product is because it doesnt need cleaning, no one will need to go on the roof.
