He was the master at songwriting. My dad would sing his songs if you can believe it on accordion...that's a far cry from a polka but he'd play 'I Can't Help Myself' and 'I Love A Rainy Night' ....Were you ever fortunate enough to see Eddie Rabbitt in concert? I believe it was in 88' I saw him and still to this day I remember so many people just smiling from ear to ear singing along with his songs. What a moment..
