However two books stand above the rest.
#1 Murder on the Orient Express:
One of Agatha's most acclaimed works, released in 1934 this book also went under the cover name of “Murder in the Calais Coach”. In this book detective (Hercule Poirot) relaxes on the train home after cracking a case. It is not long before he is thrust into the midst of yet another case as he pours over the facts of a despised billionaire who was murdered on rout. As always it is only a matter of time before the perpetrate is ousted. (RottenTomatos)
#2 Death on The Nile:
In this novel published in 1937 we set off with detective (Hercule Poirot) as the main character with his trusty sidekick Colonel Race on this murder mystery adventure. The plot takes a turn when a wealthy heiress (Linnet Ridgeway) is murdered on the same luxury cruise as Hercule and Mr. Race, coining the title “Death on The Nile”. The plot thickens as several passengers meet their untimely doom while aboard this deadly river ride. As the clock ticks Poirot goes to work twining together facts, until the killer is faced with the cold gaze of justice. When Simon and his accomplice Jacquie realize they have been snookered in one last act of desperation Jacquie rangles her guy and shoots Simon dead, killing herself immediately in a bitter end of murder suicide.
