I remember there was a gospel group that would come to our church. The country gospel singers. Bluegrass gospel. They did this song. And I absolutely loved it. May have heard of homer Beeman. He was really good. He also played in another band. Highland grass. You can find a couple videos with him on there.

My mother was part of a quartet called the Uplifters from Chattanooga TN and she would sing this song at church and the way you sang it took me back and reminded me of her in those days. She is now bedridden and can't sing anymore. You sang it they way she use to. From the heart. I thank you for the blessing. Keep sing as long as God allows! You are precious!

Here I am listening to this song again today drawing strength from it. Oh how it blesses muy heart! I wrote earlier today on here but felt I needed to write one more time. I'm at a real crossroad in my life right now and having a hard time with some things. God knows all about it and is helping me through it but it's still really hard for me right now. I have a friend here in Central Delaware by the name of Jimmy Passwater, and he also does a very good Version of The Lighthouse as well, and just like you, when he breaks into the Chorus of the Song, he also breaks down during it as well. It carries a very Powerful Message within it's Lyrics, and if one does not shed a tear or 2 while listening to it, then that person has no Heart or Soul within their Body. Love your voice- how your Daddy doing? I had seen a video y’all did a while back but wasn’t sure when y’all had made it. Praying for you and your family. I just recently lost my Daddy. My sister went yesterday to pick his ashes up from the funeral home and I didn’t know it, I had sent her a picture of a rainbow. She said that’s a sign from Daddy, I just picked his ashes up. 💔😭🌈🙌🏼 GOD IS GREAT 🙌🏼 One day we will all be back together-no more pain-no more tears. All happiness and with JESUS 🙌🏼
