Loved the transitions you used in this video! Where are they from?

Great video, I have a question , for the Quaker interview shot, how would you go about lighting the scene if the ambient light keeps changing intensity because clouds are moving blocking and unblocking the sun. That's one thing I struggle with. I would love to hear what advice you would have for that.

Even with "natural" light interviews, we will still bring lights. If we have an inkling that there's going to be shifting sunlight, we'll try to block out the window and relight it ourselves (it's mainly dependant on how much space we have, and how much lighting equipment we have, and what the situation looks like).

Was there a reason to not pull the subjects out from the walls a bit ? on the one person interviews . The Intellytech mega 6 is great new ( well V3) 4x3 size litecloth they do now , sort of goldilocks size for most on location interviews .

Good day 10 fold team, thank you for the information it really came in clutch, especially for the two person set up… I have an unrelated question for you. How do you get your logo to appear in the lower right quadrant of the screen when in full screen mode, but disappears when you view in the regular view. Is it a specific KZbin setting?. Thanks in advance

the photos behind the guy show your grid as well.

I really like your work and the vibe you bring, but unfortunately, I find it difficult to listen to someone talk without actually showing us what they’re doing. The drawings could easily be replaced by simply having someone on-site capturing photos or behind-the-scenes videos. I’ve been following this channel for a long time, but I’ve never been able to watch a full video because it often feels like endless static drawings or explanations. I truly hope that one day we’ll get to see real behind-the-scenes footage, because I’m sure there’s so much we can learn from you ❤

I believe the reason is that the videos he analyzes come from shoots that took place either before or at the very start of their KZbin channel. Now that they aim to post content regularly, they’re compelled to revisit and utilize their “old” work.

@@maxprod.5455 Watching some of his videos a few months ago, I remember he mentioned (in the comments section) exactly what you just said. I really appreciate the example footage he's shared so far, and it’s clear he put a lot of effort into this content. That said, I’ve been thinking about purchasing his "Cinematic Lighting Foundations Masterclass." However, before I make the decision, I’d love to know a bit more about what’s included in the course. Specifically, I’m curious if it focuses on practical, on-set demonstrations-where you show how the lighting is positioned and the equipment he's using while filming-or if it’s more of a talking-head explanation style. Personally, I find real behind-the-scenes, on-set footage much more engaging and valuable for learning, as it helps me feel like I’m right there with you during the process. To be honest, I’m less interested in post-taping discussions or theory and more excited about seeing the actual setup and execution. If, and only if the course leans towards practical demonstrations, I’d definitely be ready to pull the trigger ! If these details were clearly specified on the website, it would definitely be a great addition in terms of clarity.

Appreciate yall on the discourse here. Yeah these are some projects where we could post bts of the project as per client. All of our current projects are much more heavily bts based, so we have tons of that. Cinematic Lighting Lab is mainly all practical, and will mainly focus on real live on set setups. Showing you where we put the lights, how it’s effecting our subjects, what decisions we make to shape and control lighting to achieve certain looks! It’s way more in-depth than what we do on KZbin!
