To those saying this should have been a single, Alison talks about that in her podcast, 40 Moyet Moments (episodes 14 and 22). Ian Brodie told her “the record company want it to be a single”, and she took that to mean that he didn’t because he didn’t say, “I want it to be”. So she gave him an out and replied “Well, record companies would say that, wouldn’t they”. She did, in fact, want it to be but was in such a bad place in herself that thought Ian’s reputation would be tarnished by being associated with her. She says it now makes her sad because she knows it should have been a single. Her record company wanted it to be the lead single from her album, Essex, which Ian produced much of.

What a fantastic song ! The synthesiser at the start , the looping piano in the background and my word that has to be one of the best guest vocal jobs on an album I have heard . Not over the top just what a voice !!!!!!! Stunning vocals the tone of her pipes is amazing .
