The flat-front design reminds me a lot of the Los Angeles Metro's P865 and P2020 units. Ironically, these St. Louis cars are actually made by the same manufacturer as the P2000, which looks substantially different.

MetroLink has been around for 25 years & has only expanded once. Most people don't ride it because it does not come enough to your neighborhood. They do several studies for expansion costing $$ but it stops there. You expand, maybe ridership increases.

i ride metrolink alot its nice buits advised not to get off at east saint louis, emerson park, 5th and missouri, jackie-joyner kersee center, or warshington park their all pretty dangerous areas

@@RepublicOfTheWolfPackXanthera I was told 5th and Missouri, and Washington Park isn't bad during the day, but I try to avoid it. If I get off in Illinois it's either Emerson Park, Fairview Heights, Swansea, Belleville, College (SWIC), or the end of the line at Shiloh-Scott. Emerson Park is where you can connect to MCT's 5 Tri-City to Granite City Station, and 18 Collinsville Regional to Downtown Collinsville , Metrobus routes 6 Rosemont, 8 Alta Sita, 9 Washington Park

Interesting. Are those vehicles build by Siemens Duewag? They remind me in the old Pt series lightrail vehicles we had here in Frankfurt (or still have, they are still are used as peak hour support on sume tram lines since the delivery of the new T series trams has been delayed due to the C-Virus).

Yes they are. They're both either SD-400 or SD-460 type LRVs.
